OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro use its fourth-generation Oriental Screen, co-developed with BOE, with a 165Hz refresh rate across the interface and up to 185Hz in supported games.

OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro will refresh at 165Hz throughout the interface, with compatible games reaching 185Hz. The company shared the display details ahead of the series’ launch in China on October 29, and reservations are open through its official online store.

Both phones use the fourth-generation Oriental Screen that OnePlus developed with BOE, the same panel the company uses in the OnePlus 16. The 165Hz rate applies to everyday use, from system menus to scrolling. OnePlus China President Li Jie claimed the panel is the only 185Hz LTPO ultra-high-definition flagship display in the industry this year.

The Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro share the BOE-built 185Hz Oriental Screen that OnePlus also uses in the OnePlus 16.
Chipsets, batteries and pricing remain unconfirmed ahead of the October 29 China launch.

A new LTPO circuit designed for ultra-high refresh rates drives the panel, according to OnePlus. The screen also uses an X4 luminescent material customized by OnePlus and BOE, which the company says improves clarity and transparency. OnePlus’ Super Display Chip P4 processes high-frame-rate content, and an eye-care suite called Bright Eyes Protection is aimed at reducing strain during long viewing sessions.

OnePlus has also revealed the color options through its website and Weibo account. The Ace 7 comes in Tempered Fire, Midnight Black and Glossy White, while the Ace 7 Pro is offered in Windbreak, Midnight Black and Lightning White. The Tempered Fire and Windbreak gradient finishes carry an Ace logo on the back, and the solid colors display only the OnePlus logo.

Official images show both models with flat frames, rounded corners, and a silk glass finish. A raised camera island houses the camera sensors alongside air vents, and the phones include a customizable LED.

OnePlus has not confirmed the processors, battery capacities, charging speeds, or camera hardware. Both models are expected to use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-series chips, and leaks earlier this year pointed to batteries of between 9,000mAh and 10,000mAh as well as active fan cooling. Pricing has not been announced.
