XTU S7 Pro Max 4K action camera debuts with 1/1.28" 50 MP sensor and 14-stop dynamic range

XTU (aka XTUCAM) has unveiled the S7 Pro Max 4K action camera with 14 stops of dynamic range. The HDR-capable camera uses a 1/1.28-inch RYYB sensor with AI night vision technology coupled to a wide-angle lens with a 158-degree field of view.

The S7 Pro Max is capable of filming 4K videos at up to 50 fps, with up to 50 seconds of pre-recording to help prevent missed shots. The camera auto-detects rotation and switches between landscape and portrait video recording.

The camera is also capable of filming 2.7K videos at up to 50 fps and 1080p videos at up to 60 fps. It can save recordings to a microSD card (up to 512 GB) with up to 14 stops of dynamic range using X-Log file mode. For creative photography, the action camera can record 50 MP photos and create 6K time-lapses.

The camera has Super Stabilization 5.0 EIS with 360-degree horizon correction to help keep shots steady and free of shake. A 1.4-inch front display and a 2.29-inch rear touchscreen can be used to frame and review footage and stills.

The S7 Pro Max can be controlled by the touchscreen or through voice commands. A 1,800 mAh battery provides up to 200 minutes of recording at 1080p 30 fps and can be recharged 80% in approximately 46 minutes, according to XTU.

The action camera can be quickly mounted to bicycles or other objects using its magnetic quick-release mount with optional mounting accessories. It measures 70.4 × 44.45 × 28.98 mm (2.77 × 1.75 × 1.14 in.) and weighs 138 g (4.87 oz.).

The XTU S7 Pro Max action camera is available today for $179.99 from the company website and coming soon to the XTU store on Amazon.
