Garmin has released yet another update for the Instinct 2, Instinct 2S, Instinct 2X and Instinct Crossover. Rolling out as Beta Version 14.09, the update focuses on bug fixes that were present in Beta Version 14.05.

Garmin has begun offering a new beta build to the Instinct 2 series, following the release of Beta Version 14.05 over a week ago. Available for the Instinct Crossover as well, Beta Version 14.09 introduces fewer changes than its predecessor. For context, Garmin brought nearly a dozen improvements to all eligible smartwatches, with dedicated changelogs for the Instinct 2, Instinct 2S, Instinct 2X and Instinct Crossover.

By contrast, Beta Version 14.09 contains four changes, all bug fixes. In a forum post, Garmin explains that its latest beta fixes a possible crash in Tides glance. Additionally, Beta Version 14.09 should resolve an issue with Body Battery and Stress.

Moreover, the Instinct 2 series should no longer truncate Strength activity names in Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM) in German. Also, Garmin states that pickleball and padel will be accessible when Auto Cal is disabled. Please note that Garmin will not deliver Beta Version 14.09 automatically. Instead, you must install the update manually, the files for which can be found on Garmin's forum post.
