ZTE just released the RedMagic Nova globally with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chipset. Now, Honor has responded in kind with the Tablet GT Pro, albeit only in China for the time being. Please note that while Honor has not confirmed availability outside its home market yet, it typically offers its high-end mobile devices internationally at some stage.
In short, it seems that the Tablet GT Pro features the same hardware as the MagicPad 2 that Honor introduced earlier this year. Thus, the Tablet GT Pro finds itself with a 12.3-inch IMAX Enhanced OLED display that outputs at 3,000 x 1,920 pixels with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits peak brightness. Additionally, Honor has installed a 10,050 mAh battery that supports 66 W and 5 W reverse wired charging.
Arguably another star of the show is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which also powers high-end smartphones like the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra (curr. $799.99 on Amazon), among others. Moreover, the Tablet GT Pro contains a 40,000 mm² cooling system and eight speakers aided by spatial audio support. For reference, Honor sells its latest tablet in four memory configurations, culminating in a 16 GB of RAM SKU with 512 GB of storage:
- 8 GB RAM/128 GB storage - CNY 2,499 (~$351)
- 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage - CNY 2,699 (~$379)
- 12 GB RAM/256 GB storage - CNY 2,999 (~$421)
- 16 GB RAM/512 GB storage - CNY 3,399 (~$477)
