The Garmin beta version 21.15 has arrived. This update is rolling out to eligible users of the Fenix 7, Fenix 7 Pro, Epix 2, Epix 2 Pro, Enduro 2, Quatix 7 and MARQ Gen 2 smartwatches. It is the latest in a string of recent releases for these wearables, with earlier updates fixing issues with running dynamics and body battery glance history.
Now, beta version 21.15 brings two more bug fixes to the Fenix 7 and related smartwatches. The first tackles a problem where GPS would not connect as expected when users resumed an activity. The second prevents a possible crash which could occur when the golf pin position is moved. Also for golfers, there is a change to the club sensor menu, which is said to have been improved.
However, one user has posted in the Garmin forum about a bug that has appeared on their Fenix 7X Solar Sapphire smartwatch (curr. from $619.99 at Amazon). It seems that, following the update to beta version 21.15, there is an update with the Hunt Activity when the Outdoor Map+ QR Code appears unexpectedly.
Beta version 21.15 update for the Fenix 7 and related smartwatches should have reached all users over the air (OTA). If you want to manually trigger the update, you can do so by going to Menu > System > Software Update > Check for updates.
