Casio G-Shock GW-BX5600 watch appears in new leaked images
More marketing images of the Casio G-Shock GW-BX5600 watch have been leaked. This new model was rumored in May 2025, with the first leaked images appearing in August 2025. Since then, hands-on photos have been shared on Reddit, with the user suggesting they had picked up the watch in Thailand.
The latest leaked images (below), which appear to be official Casio marketing pictures, show that users of the GW-BX5600 will be able to switch between ‘Classic’ and ‘Standard’ font styles. Classic mode has seven-segment style numbers for the time in the primary time zone, while Standard has clearer, smoother digits instead. This display design feature was confirmed in an earlier leaked image, though the latest pictures show these displays on the watch itself. They also confirm that users will be able to choose between eight displays in total, four Classic and four Standard, with various date configurations and options supporting dual and triple world time zones.
A third marketing image of the GW-BX5600 (below) also mentions these two different font options. On top of this, it confirms the watch’s MIP LCD, which is described as offering “exceptional readability with high resolution, wide viewing angles, and excellent contrast”. Other features mentioned on the poster include Tough Solar charging, Multiband 6 radio control and Bluetooth connectivity for Smartphone Link, allowing users to access a range of settings in the Casio Watches app.
Another recently leaked image reveals that there would be two versions of the watch: the GW-BX5600-1 with a positive (light background) display and the GW-BX5600-1A1 with a negative (dark background) display. Casio is expected to be releasing these new G-Shock GW-BX5600-1 and GW-BX5600-1A1 watches at some point in fall 2025. However, the watch has yet to be officially announced by the brand, with an exact launch date and pricing remaining under wraps for now.
