Lately, leaks have been popping up all over the internet. In fact, a lot of information about the next game in the Tomb Raider franchise has been revealed on Reddit, raising a lot of questions for fans. And recently, the single-player campaign for Battlefield 6 was revealed online.
However, this isn't the first time EA Games' FPS has fallen victim to this. In the past, gameplay footage was leaked online immediately after the first private testing phase. Although EA Games quickly responded by removing the videos, fans of the franchise were able to catch a glimpse of explosive gameplay and improved building destruction, promising breathtaking action.
But recently, part of the single-player campaign found its way onto the web. An excerpt was spotted in the game files following an update to Battlefield Labs, a tool that allows fans to participate directly in the development of Battlefield 6.
Be careful, as the video was posted on X by @temporyal and concerns the end of a mission in the single-player campaign. In other words, if you watch it, you're likely to be spoiled, but if you're not worried about that, here are a few details.
In this excerpt, the player follows a squad that destroys a dam before escaping the area by helicopter. Of course, the spectacle is breathtaking, with buildings destroyed in a realistic manner.
But that's not all, because it's important to remember that this mission is still in development, as shown in the video where some textures don't load. As such, new elements could be added in the coming weeks and months, making the whole thing a little more realistic. In addition, this user specifies that the game will feature a prologue and eight missions in different locations such as Egypt, Tajikistan, the United States, and Gibraltar.
As a reminder, Battlefield 6 is eagerly awaited by many fans around the world, especially after the big disappointment of Battlefield 2042. As for its release date, it is scheduled for before March 31, 2026, but it could be available at the end of 2025. Nevertheless, it is best to stick to official information, and to that end, Andy McNamara, communications manager for the franchise, has stated that the game will be presented this summer by EA Games.
