iQoo tablet with new Snapdragon chipset tipped to debut alongside iQoo 16

A new device with the model number "iPA2691" has received SRRC certification in China. According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the model number corresponds to a new iQoo tablet. The certification does not reveal an exact name; however, it confirms support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth.
Since the certification lists only Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, with no cellular bands mentioned, the device appears to be a Wi-Fi-only model. The tipster suggests it could be the company's first compact tablet.
Moreover, it is tipped to be powered by a next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chipset built on a 2nm process node. For comparison, the iQoo Pad 6 Pro (curr. $842.70 on TradingShenzhen) launched in May 2026 as the company's top-end tablet with a large 13.2-inch display and a 13,000mAh battery. It features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset based on a 3nm process.
The tipster suggests iQoo's compact tablet may launch alongside the iQoo 16, which is expected to debut in Q4 2026 as the successor to the flagship iQoo 15 smartphone. According to a recent leak, the iQoo 16 may feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, a 50MP primary camera, and a roughly 8,500mAh battery.
