2025 is the year of the smartphone battery revolution - however, iQoo is said to set the bar even higher with its upcoming Neo11 series.
They have yet again been tipped to make even their 6,100mAh forebears look weedy with rated capacities of up to 7,500mAh.
But first, iQoo apparently plans to pave the way for these surprisingly slim battery monsters with 2 mid-range counterparts. The alleged Z10-series flagships are, again, backed to outpace even the Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition by making ~7,000mAh batteries the new normal.
The "Z10 Turbo" and "Turbo Pro" are also now touted to democratize the single-point ultrasonic fingerprint readers normally reserved for higher-end smartphones.
The sensors might be set into 144Hz LTPS screens driven by upgraded Snapdragon 8s Elite and Dimensity 8400 processors respectively.
They are projected to launch in the second quarter of 2025, followed by a top-end Z10 Turbo+ (which might benefit from the same Dimensity 9400+ chipset and battery as the Neo11 Pro) in the second half of the year.
The allegedly impending premium mid-range line-up from iQoo might also preserve some of the design cues from the Neo9 Pro (available now on Amazon.in).
