The Mavic 3 Classic has leaked again, a month after the drone last appeared online. Not only has the drone's full design leaked, but so have some of specifications, its price and an alleged release date. DJI has certified the Mavic 3 Classic with the FCC in the US too, signalling its impending release in the US.

It appears that DJI is on the verge of announcing another drone. To recap, the company has introduced half a dozen this year alone, most recently with the Mavic 3E and Mavic 3T for enterprise users. Additionally, there has been the Mini 3 Pro and the Avata for consumers, as well as two other enterprise drones that arrived earlier this year. Now, it seems that DJI has finalised the Mavic 3 Classic, which would be the fifth model in the Mavic 3 series, including the new Mavic 3E and Mavic 3T.

Based on earlier information, the Mavic 3 Classic will be cheaper than the Mavic 3 and the Mavic 3 Cine, DJI's other consumer-grade Mavic 3 series drones. Reportedly, DJI has set the drone's price at approximately US$1,400, which would represent a US$500 discount on the Mavic 3. For reference, this price would make the Mavic 3 Classic about twice as expensive as the Mini 3 Pro, too.

Incidentally, it appears that DJI has already certified the drone for sale in the US. Surfacing on the Federal Communications Commission last week, the drone features the chassis of the Mavic 3 but with a tweaked camera set-up. Seemingly, DJI has omitted the Mavic 3's telephoto camera, presumably wherein some of the US$500 saving lines. Still, the Mini 3 Classic is expected to utilise the same 4/3-inch CMOS sensor as the rest of the Mavic 3 family, as well as Hasselblad camera tunings. Currently, DJI is thought to have earmarked late October for the Mavic 3 Classic's release, potentially October 27. However, the company has not started teasing anything yet as it always does before product launches.
