Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartwatch globally. Already officially sold in Europe, the Smart Band 11 Active combines a 1.47-inch display with up to 21 days of battery life. The new wearable will be available globally in three finishes, too.

Xiaomi has finally confirmed the existence of its next budget wearable after months of leaks and rumours. To recap, a wearable believed to be the Smart Band 11 Active started appearing at regulatory bodies in May. Then about two months later, Roland Quandt and WinFuture provided a first look at the Smart Band 11 Active in multiple launch colours.

A few days ago, third parties started selling the same fitness tracker in Europe. At the time, it seemed that Xiaomi would launch the Smart Band 11 Active on September 3. While that could still be the wearable's release date, Xiaomi has now officially launched the device globally. As Quandt and WinFuture claimed, the Smart Band 11 Active has arrived in three colours, which Xiaomi describes as Black, Grey and Pomelo Pink.

Additionally, all colours feature a 1.47-inch display within a 43.5 x 25.8 x 10.2 mm case. However, the Smart Band 11 Active does not contain an AMOLED display to match the Smart Band 10 (curr. $52.99 on Amazon). Instead, Xiaomi has installed a TFT panel, which outputs at 172 x 320 pixels with a 247 PPI pixel density. Reportedly, the new fitness tracker offers 5 ATM water resistance too, although Xiaomi stresses that the Smart Band 11 Active is unsuitable to wear while diving, in a sauna or when taking a hot shower.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active weighs 18 g, excluding a strap.

Setting that aside, the Smart Band 11 Active is said to offer up to 21 days of battery life when being used lightly. Alternatively, the fitness tracker should last 8 days between charging its 300 mAh battery under the following circumstances:

The device was fully charged and restored to factory settings with the default static watch face. Advanced monitoring and sleep breathing quality monitoring were enabled with sleep tracked for 8 hours per day; all-day heart rate monitoring was enabled with measurements every minute; blood oxygen saturation was measured manually twice per day; all-day stress monitoring was enabled; notifications were enabled (200 messages, 15 incoming calls, and 3 alarms per day); display was activated by lifting the wrist 500 times per day; app was synced once per day; and workout tracking was enabled for 90 minutes per week.

Xiaomi includes 50 fitness modes, compatibility with Android and iOS, and a PPG sensor capable of tracking heart rates, SpO2 levels, sleep, stress and women's health. Currently, we have only officially found the Smart Band 11 Active for sale in Poland, where it costs PLN 139 (~$38) in any one of its three colours. According to Quandt and WinFuture, the Smart Band 11 Active will land in the Eurozone for around €40 (~$45).
