Xiaomi TV A2 FHD 43-in revealed with ultra-thin bezel and DTS Virtual:X Sound support
Xiaomi has revealed the TV A2 FHD 43-in as part of its TV A2 series. The main difference between the A2 43-in and the A2 FHD 43-in is the display; the FHD device has a 1920 x 1080 px resolution display. The A2 TV has a 4K UHD display with a 3,840 x 2160 px resolution and MEMC up to UHD 60 Hz.
Both screens have an ultra-thin bezel surrounding the display, with a 60 Hz refresh rate and over one billion colors that provide vivid colors and detail to the image. The smart TVs are powered by Android TV, with built-in Google Assistant enabling you to control the gadget with voice commands. The A2 and A2 FHD also work as a smart home hub, allowing you to control other devices via Google.
Another difference is the sound system; the A2 FHD has two built-in 10 W speakers for an immersive sound experience, plus the TV supports Dolby Audio, DTS-X and DTS Virtual:X Sound. The A2 has two 12 W speakers, supporting Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. You can connect further speakers to both devices via a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Android TV provides access to streaming services, and you can cast to the TV via Chromecast or Miracast. You can connect to the TV via Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4G/5GHz Wi-Fi, or via HDMI and USB ports. The European release date and price for the TV A2 FHD 43-in are currently unknown. However, it will likely be cheaper than the TV A2 43-in, which costs €449.00 (~US$462).
