Xiaomi looks set to finally debut its next-gen tablets, the Xiaomi Pad 6 series, in the coming months. Multiple leaks have surfaced about the devices, and the latest of the lot now provides insight into Xiaomi's SoC choices and when the tablets will debut.
As revealed by popular leaker Digital Chat Station, China's biggest OEMs are set to launch new flagship tablets soon. That, of course, includes Xiaomi, with the company's tablet series being the most established of the bunch. Supposedly, these tablets will land in March or April. Considering previous reports, it's likely the Xiaomi Pad 6 series launches around April, alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and the Xiaomi Band 8.
Digital Chat Station also claims these new flagship tablets will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9000 and the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Specifically, however, the entry-level Xiaomi Pad 6 model will come equipped with a Snapdragon 870. The vanilla Xiaomi Pad 5 launched with a Snapdragon 860, for example. If previous generations are any indication, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro could then feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Lastly, the Xiaomi Pad 6 series could get improved displays, going up to a resolution of 2.8K or 3K, from the Pad 5 series' 2.5K screens.
