Xiaomi POCO M4 5G: Render leaks for upcoming Dimensity 700 powered smartphone

Abhishek Yadav has revealed a supposed first look at the POCO M4 5G, another mid-range smartphone for the POCO brand. While Yadav's image is low resolution, most of the POCO M4 5G's rear design elements can be made out. In short, the POCO M4 5G resembles its predecessor, which Xiaomi launched in November 2020.

However, it appears that Xiaomi plans to release the POCO M4 5G with a revised camera housing, although not the ones found in the POCO M4 Pro or the POCO M4 Pro 5G. Still, we can make out at least four camera lenses, plus what may be two LED flashes, which would be unusual. Unfortunately, Yadav has not revealed the POCO M4 5G's front.

Still, the image confirms that Xiaomi will release the POCO M4 5G in a green colourway, rather than the Cool Blue, POCO Yellow or Power Black options in which the POCO M3 is available. Reportedly, the POCO M4 5G will launch with a 6.58-inch IPS panel that offers a 1080p resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, plus a 5 MP front-facing camera.

Additionally, the device is expected to arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, up to 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of storage options. The POCO M4 5G should have a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18 W fast charging too, like many Xiaomi smartphones.
