Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 specifications start leaking out: 10th Gen Intel Core CPUs and Nvidia GPUs in the mix for prices starting from ₹50,000 (US$662)
Some specifications for the forthcoming Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 have leaked out. The laptop, which will receive a global launch in India on June 11, will give customers the chance to test out either an i5 or i7 chip from Intel’s 10th Gen series of processors. The actual SKUs haven't been revealed yet, but it seems that the regular Mi Notebook 14 will get the i5 CPU while the higher-specced Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition will be configured with the i7 chip.
As for the GPU, it is rumored that buyers of the vanilla Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 will be offered a choice between utilizing the iGPU delivered by the 10th Gen Intel Core processor and selecting the Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU. Those who plump for the Horizon Edition laptop will enjoy a slightly better GPU in the form of the Nvidia GeForce MX350. Storage is expected to be offered as either a 256 GB SSD or 512 GB SSD, and RAM is limited to 8 GB. Users can expect up to 10 hours of battery life with the Mi Notebook 14.
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 naturally comes with a 14-inch FHD display, but the Horizon Edition will once again offer customers a little more, thanks to it apparently having narrow bezels (reported 91% screen-to-body ratio). These aren’t mind-blowing specs by any means, but it is likely Xiaomi will enjoy healthy sales when the Mi Notebook 14 laptops are released in India on June 11. No official word on prices has been given yet, but speculation has centered on ₹50,000 (US$662) for the entry-level unit rising to a very steep ₹72,000 (US$953) for the top-specced variant.
