Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12 Pro prices, memory configurations and colour options revealed for European release
Xiaomi is yet to confirm when it will announce the Xiaomi 12 series globally, despite announcing three smartphones in December at a Chinese launch event. Currently, Xiaomi has released the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12 Pro, although rumours persist that it plans to reveal a Xiaomi 12 Ultra at some stage.
Still, Mysmartprice claims it has received information from 'industry sources' about the European colour options, memory configurations and prices of the Xiaomi 12 series. Purportedly, the Xiaomi 12X will arrive in Europe for between €600 and €700 with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. For context, Xiaomi also offers a 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage option in China.
Additionally, the Xiaomi 12 will be available with the same memory configurations as the Xiaomi 12X. However, the handset will cost between €800 and €900. Potentially, the Xiaomi 12 could start at €800 with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, with double the storage costing an additional €100.
In comparison, Mysmartprice expects Xiaomi to pitch the Xiaomi 12 Pro for at least €1,000. While the website claims that Xiaomi will only offer the handset with 256 GB of storage, there will be 8 GB of RAM and 12 GB of RAM options. Apparently, the Xiaomi 12 Pro could cost up to €1,200.
Mysmartprice adds that all Xiaomi 12 series devices will launch in Europe with Blue, Grey and Purple colourways. By the sounds of it, the trio's green leather option will remain a Chinese exclusive. Unfortunately, Mysmartprice is none the wiser about when the Xiaomi 12 series will launch outside China.
