Xiaomiui has compiled its latest list of smartphones that should receive Android 13, which Google recently released to developers. Typically, Google issues stable Android OS upgrades in the autumn, but Xiaomi takes a few months more to begin upgrading its devices. For example, Xiaomi has only just kicked off its Android and MIUI 13 update program, although devices like the Xiaomi 11T Pro are currently receiving Mi Pilot builds.
It is worth stressing that Xiaomiui's list is not official. However, the website builds its lists with reference to internal information from MIUI and Xiaomi. In other words, the list should be broadly correct and are educated guesses. Presumably, Xiaomi will not start rolling out Android 13 upgrades until early 2023 for the most part.
Unsurprisingly, Xiaomiui expects all recent flagship smartphones to receive Android 13, such as the Mi 11 and Xiaomi 12 series. Similarly, the website believes that Xiaomi will upgrade the 11T, 11X and Civi series to Android 13, their first Android OS update.
The list of POCO and Redmi devices set to see Android 13 is similarly long. However, Xiaomiui notes that budget Redmi smartphones often only receive one major update, like the Redmi 10 Prime 2022. We have included Xiaomiui's expectations below.
