XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC2 pictures leak ahead of launch
AMD add-in-board partners (AIBs) are in the process of bringing to market, with PowerColor and Sapphire already having done so. Now, Videocardz has received a tip about two upcoming XFX RX 5700 XT cards, with the naming of one being rather tongue-in-cheek. The website reports that XFX will be releasing an RX 5700 XT RAW2, about which it has provided no additional information, and the THICC2.
The THICC2, yes it is really called that, has a black and silver shroud with two 10 cm fans that is akin to XFX GPUs of old. Specifically, the THICC2 has shades of the RX 280X Double Dissipation, albeit one that has spent too much time bulking.
The 2.5 slot GPU has a huge grille too, along with a full-length backplate. Additionally, it has three DisplayPorts and one HDMI 2.0 port, as other RX 5700 XT cards do. The THICC2 has 6-pin and 8-pin power connectors too, along with its PCIe x16 connector. There is no word on pricing or specifications yet, but we suspect that it will pack more performance than the RX 5700 XT reference card. The XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC2 should arrive later this month.
