Following a cascade of leaks and renders for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, a YouTuber recently unboxed the Mystic Bronze variant of the upcoming smartwatch a week ahead of its official unveiling at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked on August 5th.

YouTuber The Mobile Central recently unboxed the as-yet-unannounced Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. The device, which is expected to launch during Samsung’s August 5th Galaxy Unpacked event is evidently being sold by a number of retailers who’ve broken embargo. This means that buyers in some regions like the United Arab Emirates could potentially get their hands on the Galaxy Watch 3 right now.

During the unboxing video, The Mobile Central compares the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 to the Apple Watch and the current Galaxy Watch 2. From the looks of things, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is an iterative improvement over the Galaxy Watch 2, with a slightly slimmer bezel. Because the device hasn’t officially been launched, The Mobile Central had a bit of trouble getting it to pair with their Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Gear app.

The Galaxy Watch 3 will feature fall detection and an ECG sensor and we expect it to run on Samsung’s Tizen OS. If you want to get your hands on it the official way, you’ll need to wait until after August 5th. Since retailers already seem to have it in stock, the Galaxy Watch 3 will probably be available straight away.
