Home theater fans can now purchase the Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 without any crowdfunding hassle directly on Amazon. The projector is priced at $2,999 and sold directly by the manufacturer, but shipped by Amazon. The projection setup consists of three lasers and supposedly covers 110% of the Rec.2020 color space. Valerion further advertises 3,000 ISO lumens of brightness and a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.
The fact that this isn't the projector’s native resolution is evidenced by the price and input lag, which depends on the resolution and refresh rate. At Full HD and 240Hz, the VisionMaster Pro2 has 4ms of input lag, which increases to 15ms at 4K and 60Hz. ALLM is supported, the projector can also display a crosshair and selectively brighten up darker parts of an image, which suggests that it should be well-suited for gamers.
In addition to that, the projection size ranges between 40 and 300 inches. A zoom lens is built-in and allows to adjust the projection ratio between 0.9:1 and 1.5:1. Stereo speakers with an output of 12 watts each are onboard as well, as is DTS Virtual:X support. The laser projector can receive image signals via two HDMI 2.1 ports and one HDMI 2.0 port with eARC.
Meanwhile, the Google TV operating system provides access to thousands of native applications including Netflix and other notable streaming services. In terms of connectivity, the VisionMaster Pro2 also offers USB 3.0, one USB 2.0 port, a headphone jack and an optical audio input. Last but not least, internet or network access is provided via WiFi 6E or a conventional Ethernet port.
