PICO-ARU4: Compact single-board computer sports 12-core Intel CPUs and is priced at a premium
Aaeon is a well-known name in the SBC arena, specializing in products aimed primarily at industrial use. The brand has now revealed the brand-new PICO-ARU4 single-board computer, powered by high-end Intel Core Ultra 200 series processors. The product is already available for purchase from Aaeon's official website.
Tiny SBC with 12-core CPUs
According to Aaeon, the PICO-ARU4 is the first ever SBC to combine the Pico-ITX form factor with the computing prowess of 15-watt Intel Core Ultra 200 chips. The board can be equipped with up to the Intel Core Ultra 7 255U CPU, featuring 2 performance cores, 2 LP cores, and 8 efficiency cores, allowing for multi-threaded performance that can rival the AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS.
The SBC is also available with the Intel Core Ultra 5 225U CPU, which sports the same core count but is held back by slower clock speeds. Both the chips sport a 4-core Xe LPG iGPU, which is about as powerful as the Radeon 760M iGPU found in mid-range Zen 4 APUs. At just 100 x 72 mm, the PICO-ARU4 SBC is impressively compact and should serve well in environments with severe space constraints. The I/O on offer is as follows:

Premium pricing for a premium product
Memory requirements are taken care of by up to 32 GB of soldered memory. Storage, on the other hand, is handled by a single SATA slot, as well as an M.2 2280 slot. Wireless networking is also possible, courtesy of the M.2 2230 slot. As mentioned earlier, the SBC is already available for purchase directly from Aaeon. Pricing details have been listed below.
