Ugreen launches new 160W fast charger with built-in smart display and five ports

Ugreen has launched a new power adapter in China with the model number X774. At the core, it's a competitor to the recently launched 3-port Anker Prime 160W charger, but compared to Anker's offering, Ugreen's newly introduced model comes with a total of five ports.

To be precise, there are four USB Type-C ports and one Type-A port. This configuration makes the new Ugreen fast charger capable of powering five devices at the same time. However, it's worth noting that the C1 and C2 ports max out at 140W each, while the C3 and C4 can deliver up to 30W each, and for USB Type-A, it maxes out at 22.5W.

It's also worth mentioning that the power output from each port will depend on how many devices are connected to the charger, but the total will be 160W regardless of the configuration.

Another big highlight of this power adapter is the built-in smart screen. It can show the power output status of each port and other core details during the charging sessions. Ugreen says that the charger has an advanced protection feature, which ensures stable and safe charging.

Support for multiple leading fast charging protocols and a sleek design are among the other highlights of the Ugreen X774 charger. In China, this power adapter launched with a tag of CNY 259, about $36. The brand has yet to share when this Anker 160W Prime charger (curr. $109.99 on Amazon) competitor will make an international debut, but it usually makes most of its products go global shortly after the Chinese launch.
