Motorola has introduced a new mid-range smartphone with a 120 Hz display and a massive 7,000 mAh battery. Also packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and a 50 MP camera, the Moto G100s should be available outside China as the Moto G67 Power.

Motorola is due to introduce the Moto G67 Power in India later this week as the first Moto G6 series smartphone since the Moto G64. Just like the Edge 70 before it, Motorola has decided to unveil the same smartphone by another name in China.

This time it is the Moto G100s, which complements the Moto G100 and Moto G100 Pro that Motorola launched earlier this year. Despite the name, the Moto G100s contains a few downgrades from the existing Moto G100. For instance, Motorola has swapped 12 GB of RAM for 8 GB of RAM, which now comes with 128 GB of storage as an entry-level option rather than 256 GB with the Moto G100. Moreover, Motorola has replaced the 32 MP front-facing camera with an 8 MP equivalent.

Additionally, the Moto G100s contains the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset also found in the HMD Skyline, Edge 50 Fusion and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G (curr. $319.99 on Amazon), among other devices. Mirroring the Moto G67 Power, the Moto G100s also has a 7,000 mAh battery backed by 30 W wired charging and 6.72-inch IPS display pairing a 1080p resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Motorola has priced the Moto G100s at CNY 999 (~$140), rising to CNY 1,099 (~$154) with 256 GB of storage.
