Lenovo launches affordable Moto G100 2025 with large battery and 50 MP camera

Alongside showcasing the thin and light Moto X70 Air in new photos, Lenovo has launched the G100 2025 in China. It's an affordable phone that packs a large battery. To be precise, the budget-friendly smartphone features a 7,000 mAh battery, which is claimed to provide all-day runtime.

This large-sized battery of the 2025 Moto G100 has support for 30 W fast charging, and it's not clear whether Lenovo includes a matching fast charger in the box (65 W Ugreen Nexode charger curr. $27.99 on Amazon). Apart from the battery, the display is also a notable aspect of the smartphone. It's a 6.72-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1800 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Lenovo claims that the display of the refreshed Moto G100 has a peak brightness rating of 1,050 nits and has support for DC dimming for a comfortable viewing experience. Under the hood, the affordable phone packs the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, which is paired with 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage and 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

Unlike some of the other affordable phones in the market, the 2025 Moto G100 doesn't sport a microSD card slot, which is a bummer. As for the camera setup, the back sports a Sony LYT-600 50 MP primary camera, which is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide and a macro sensor.

The front features a 32 MP selfie camera. Other highlights of the new Moto G100 include an IP64 water and dust resistance rating, stereo speakers, and availability in three color options. The affordable phone launched in China with a price tag of CNY 1399, around $196. Lenovo has yet to confirm when the smartphone will make a global debut.
