Anker has expanded availability of its new 3-port 160W charger with a smart display to more countries. Previously launched in the US, the portable charger sits at the top of Anker’s smart USB-C adapter lineup, above the 140W and 100W models.
Buyers can purchase the Anker Prime Charger (160W, 3 Ports, Smart Display) in the UK through Amazon for £129.99. In Europe, it’s available in Germany through the brand’s website and Amazon for €129.99, around €60 more than the 140W model, which is currently discounted ahead of Black Friday.
As we previously reported, this adapter can charge three devices at once through its three USB-C ports with a combined output of 160W. When connected to a single device, each port can put out 140W, which is more than enough to power a 16-inch M4 Max MacBook Pro while running full throttle. It can split the output to 100W/60W or 70W/70W when charging two devices. For three devices, it supports 100W/30W/30W or 70W/70W/20W, so it’s still possible to power a laptop or two alongside another device.
Moreover, with dynamic power distribution, Anker says the charger automatically detects and adjusts power every 2 minutes, making sure each device charges at its optimal speed. It also has built-in protections to prevent overcharging and overheating.
That said, the adapter comes in at 2.56 x 2.05 x 1.38 inches (65 x 52 x 35 mm) and has a smart display that shows real-time charging stats and temperature readings. You can also use the companion app to get more insights, switch charging modes, and even rotate the display. At 7.76 oz (220 g), it’s light enough to carry around without a hassle.
