The imminent replacement of Redmi Note 14 smartphones globally like the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus (curr. $359 on Amazon) should come as no surprise at this point. For one, Xiaomi refreshes the series annually if not biannually in some cases. Not only that, but Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi Note 15, Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus in China.
In other words, it is more a case of when, not if, Xiaomi will release the Redmi Note 15, Redmi Note 15 Pro and the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus globally. Previously, 25080RABDG was identified as the global version of the Redmi Note 15 Pro. Meanwhile, 2510ERA8BG was thought to be the global model number of the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, with 25080RABDC and 2510ERA8BC relating to the Chinese versions of the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, respectively.
Although these model numbers did not reveal when the pair would launch, they indicated that global models would be direct relatives of their Chinese counterparts. However, Paras Guglani claims to have seen evidence of the pair relating to the following three model numbers apiece for two Redmi Note 15 devices:
- Redmi Note 15 - 26011RN82I, 26011RN82L, 26011RN82G
- Redmi Note 15 Pro - 26012RN62I, 26012RN62L, 26012RN62G
Indian, Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and global variants, respectively, these model numbers suggest that Xiaomi plans to launch at least one variant around January 2026. To that end, Abhishek Yadav asserts that the Redmi Note 15 series will debut outside during the same period, albeit without specifying further.
Regardless, the possible adoption of 26011RN for global variants indicates one of three things. For instance, Xiaomi could have changed how it reports model numbers. Alternatively, global Redmi Note 15 models could be based around different underlying devices than their Chinese counterparts. At this stage, we would not rule out Guglani's reporting being wide of the mark at this point.
