Ugreen is a well-known name in the realm of NAS systems, offering a myriad of options in nearly every price bracket. The DXP4800 and DX4800 Plus already exist, and the company seems to have already introduced a third and a fourth variant - the DXP4800 Pro and the DXP4800S. There is a caveat, however - these variants are only available in China for now.
Affordable NAS with 4-core, 5-core, and 6-core CPUs
The DXP4800 and the DXP4800 Plus both feature 4 bays and dual M.2 slots, allowing the systems to house up to 136 TB of storage. The story with the DXP4800S and DXP4800 Pro is much the same in terms of the number of drive bays and maximum capacity. Where the four systems differ is in CPU options. The DXP4800 is powered by a 4-core Intel N100 (iGPU with 24 EUs) chip, the DXP4800 Plus is powered by the much more capable 5-core Pentium 8505 (iGPU with 48 EUs) chip. The DXP4800S and the DXP4800 Pro, on the other hand, are powered by the 6-core Intel i3-1315U (iGPU with 64 EUs) and 4-core Intel N150 (iGPU with 24 EUs) chips respectively. The I/O on offer is as follows:
