Amazing new collector's edition is here delight fans of The Last of Us

The Last of Us is a franchise that has made a significant mark on the history of video games. And more than ten years after the release of the first game, a new collector's edition, which is already shaping up to be a must-have, is sure to delight long-time fans.

The adventures of Joel and Ellie continue to fascinate players around the world. It must be said that between the many twists and turns in the story and the post-apocalyptic universe, the mix is perfect and leaves a lasting impression on everyone who plays it. It's no surprise, then, that new collector's editions and merchandise are still being released every year, bringing cult moments back to life and allowing fans to learn more about the main storyline. 

Naughty Dog doesn't seem to want to stop at figurines, vinyls, or collector's editions of the two games. In fact, a new item published by Dark Horse, in collaboration with Naughty Dog, will allow you to immerse yourself completely in the story of The Last of Us, while learning or discovering many things. 

These are the scripts for both games in the franchise, compiled into a single book entitled The Last of Us: Part I and Part II Scripts, which contains 618 pages. In this book, you can read the original story of Joel and Ellie and the continuation of their adventures, before they were adapted into a video game. Please note that with so many pages, this volume will be in 8“×11” format. You will therefore need to make room for it in your home. 

In addition, there is a foreword by Troy Baker and a gallery of illustrations by Hyoung Nam, Naughty Dog's concept artist. Regarding the history of these scripts, Neil Druckmann told Variety: "At its beginning, The Last of Us was a series of philosophical themes grief, unconditional love, the relentless pursuit of justice waiting to be shaped into a story. These scripts, written during the games' development, were meant to guide our team as we brought that world to life. They were never intended for public view until now. For the first time, we're sharing them with you, hoping this rare glimpse brings you even closer to the hearts of Joel, Ellie, Abby, and the world they inhabit." 

Finally, it is available for pre-order on Amazon for $66.63 and Barnes & Noble for $69.99. Not to mention that it will be officially released on December 16 and 17, 2025, in bookstores and comic book stores.
