Neil Druckmann reveals details about his most ambitious game and announces a promising cast

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is a game that has remained mysterious for many months. But new information has recently been revealed by Neil Druckmann.

Thus, it is for the Emmys Awards that Variety was able to ask him questions about this new game. And Neil Druckmann specifies that this is the most ambitious game he has ever created. And that’s not all, because he also thinks it will be the most expensive project of Naughty Dog once it is finished. 

Regarding its gameplay, Neil Druckmann explains: 

"You could look at our previous titles and see the evolution of going from “Uncharted,” where we’re really cutting our teeth on realistic character-action game, third-person shooter, combined with emotional storytelling. With “The Last of Us,” we added some RPG elements, we started playing with wide linear layouts. Continue that trajectory forward, add sci-fi and you start to get the sense of what we’re doing, and then we’ve gotten even more ambitious than that. So really looking forward to see how it all comes together.”

Finally, the cast of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is also very promising. It must be said that Tati Gabrielle will embody the protagonist Jordan A. Mun, but also that Troy Baker, known for playing Joel Miller in The Last of Us, will be present in this game. 

In the rest of his interview, Neil Druckmann explains that this project could become a new franchise if it meets with success. And it looks like it could be, with its unique universe and dream cast, although we'll have to wait for further information to be sure.
