The Logitech G Cloud is reported to be launching in a new black color soon. However, you don't have to wait for Logitech to announce the G Cloud in black as there is a rival handheld that is not only available in transparent black but also bests the Logitech G Cloud and costs less.
That device is the Abxylute One Pro — an Android-powered handheld like the Logitech G Cloud. Like its rival, the Abxylute One Pro is designed for cloud gaming and remote play/local streaming. It can also be used to play native Android games and for emulating retro games.
The Abxylute One Pro has a 7-inch 16:9 60Hz touch display with a 1080p resolution. While the display specs are no different from those of the Logitech G Cloud, Russ Crandall of Retro Game Corps, said in his review that the One Pro's display is of a higher quality than that used by Logitech as the colors are better reproduced.
The review also praised the joysticks, the D-pad, and face buttons; and despite the Logitech G Cloud having better ergonomics, he said he'd choose the Abxylute One Pro over it.
The Abxylute handheld is powered by MediaTek's Genio 510, a 6nm processor that has 2x Arm Cortex-A78 cores and 4x Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that can be expanded via a Micro SD card slot (2TB max).
The Abxylute One Pro also has dual speakers, dual microphones, a light sensor, a 6-axis gyroscope, dual Z-axis motors, a Type-C port with support for 4K video output, and an audio jack. Its 5,200mah battery capacity is capable of charging at 18W and should provide up to 8 hours of use.
The Abyxlute One Pro is available in Transparent Black on Amazon for $256.99 but you can grab it for cheaper from Abxylute at $239. Whichever one you choose, you get to pay much less than the $299 the Logitech G Cloud sells for.
