The RTX 50 series of GPUs finally made their way into the Steam Hardware Survey as of June. While the RTX 40 series and RTX 30 series cards still dominate the most popular list, the latest generation of GPUs have become the most popular on Amazon. The top three spots are occupied by the RTX 50 series GPUs, followed by the Radeon RX 9000 series flagship.
As per the data shared by TechEpiphany on X showing retail sales as of June on Amazon US, the RTX 5070 (Buy Gigabyte RTX 5070) takes the top spot with 5,450 units sold. It is followed by the RTX 5060 Ti (Buy Asus Dual RTX 5060 Ti) at 4,950 units and the RTX 5070 Ti (Buy MSI Gaming RTX 5070 Ti) at 4,400 units. This gives Nvidia 70.51% of the market share by units sold and 78.61% revenue share. The RTX 5070 was released in March and RTX 5070 Ti was launched in February this year, while the RTX 5060 Ti was made available in April.
At number four is the Radeon RX 9070 XT (Buy Asus Prime 9070 XT) with 4,100 units sold (adding all three RX 9070 XT list items). It was recently reported that the demand for this GPU has dropped which has led to the pricing coming back down closer to its MSRP of $600. This could bring a spike in sales for the RX 9070 XT especially considering it now beats the RTX 5070 Ti on average at 1440p. The RX 9070 is way down on the list with only 850 units sold. As per the post, AMD holds 27.57% of market share in units sold and 20.49% in revenue share.
As for Intel GPUs, the most sold Arc card is the Arc B580 with 400 units, followed by the Arc A380 at 350 units. As per Amazon’s data, Intel is far behind the competition, but it has committed to more Arc Battlemage GPUs that will offer a higher level of performance than the currently available Arc B580.
It should be noted that this is data from just one retailer and does not paint the complete picture of where the market stands. However, the Steam Hardware survey does also point to Nvidia holding the monopoly in consumer GPUs.
