OnePlus originally introduced the 7T Pro McLaren Edition in the absence of US availability or pricing. However, T-Mobile has just announced that it is to stock this phone in the country. Moreover, this carrier’s version will support 5G.

OnePlus released a 2nd generation of its McLaren-branded flagship variant as part of its 7T Pro series. US enthusiasts of this concept may have been disappointed to learn that it was not coming to their country, however. Now, though, T-Mobile may have good news for these consumers.

It has announced that the 7T Pro McLaren Edition is coming to its network. Furthermore, the units in question are to be exclusive 5G variants of this phone. Therefore, this 12GB late-2019 refresh of the 7 Pro will add this feature to its premium-tier arsenal.

This news may be less welcome to those who have ordered the non-T-Mo variant of the same. They are 4G only, which means its maxed-out RAM is the only thing that distinguishes it from the regular 7T Pro – apart from the fancy papaya-and-black paint job, of course. T-Mobile states that its 5G-powered versions will be released to its store “soon”.
