OnePlus has recently updated the 6 and 6T, its second-last generation of flagship phones. The upgrade confers the June 2019 security patch level on the devices. It also adds a native screen-recorder, which is now found in the series' Quick Settings in their UI.
The OnePlus 6 and 6T now support in-built screen recording. It is a part of the devices' latest OxygenOS (the OEM's Android skin) update. The new versions - 9.0.15 for the 6T and 9.0.7 for the 6 - adds other tweaks and improvements to the 2 2018 phones.
OnePlus has a reputation for a decent schedule of software updates. It continues this by pushing these new upgrades for the 6 and 6T. On the other hand, they are only just now updating the devices to the June 2019 Android security patch level, and it was announced on July 2.
The OEM also asserts that this latest update also improves screen rotation on the 6 or 6T. It also allows the phones to support voice over LTE or WiFi for the Danish carrier Telia. The update also includes the user feedback tool usually reserved for beta builds of OxygenOS.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
