The Division Resurgence receives official launch date

Ubisoft has confirmed that The Division Resurgence will launch worldwide on March 31 for iOS and Android, giving the free-to-play mobile shooter a firm release date after a long stretch of test phases and previews. The announcement was made as part of Ubisoft’s The Division 10th Anniversary Showcase, where the company also outlined upcoming plans for The Division 2 and other parts of the franchise.
Ubisoft describes The Division Resurgence as a mobile entry built around a shared open world, a canonical story within The Division universe, and support for both solo and co-op play. The company also says the game will include familiar series features such as the Dark Zone and Specializations, positioning it as a full-scale Division experience tailored for phones rather than a smaller side project.
Ubisoft ties the launch to broader Division anniversary plans
The launch-date reveal arrived during the franchise’s 10th anniversary presentation, which Ubisoft used to update players on several Division projects at once. In the same official post, Ubisoft said The Division 2 is getting its Anniversary Season and Year 8 roadmap, while The Division Resurgence moves from pre-release testing to a global launch window at the end of the month.
Ubisoft is also using the launch push to highlight cross-game rewards. According to the official announcement, Division 2 players can unlock rewards in The Division Resurgence, while players who try Resurgence can also earn items in The Division 2, including a Level 40 boost.
Mobile players now have a clear release window
That gives mobile players a concrete date to work toward after years of staggered reveals, regional testing, and shifting expectations around the game’s arrival. Ubisoft’s official messaging now focuses on March 31 as the worldwide launch, with pre-registration already open through the iOS App Store and Google Play.
For Ubisoft, the date finally moves The Division Resurgence out of the preview phase and into a full commercial launch. For players, it means the series’ long-promised mobile spinoff is now days away from release rather than sitting behind another test sign-up page.
