Update

Zepp has clarified its relationship with Amazfit. According to a company representative, Amazfit will continue as a subsidiary of Huami and will not be retired for Zepp. Amazfit will connect to smartphones through the Zepp app, while Zepp products will include devices and the associated digital health management platform. Zepp has stressed that it and Amazfit are not subsidiaries of Xiaomi, too.

Original article follows below:

The Zepp E series is now shipping in the UK and the US. Zepp, formerly known under the Amazfit brand, announced two smartwatches last month. Xiaomi or Huami has have yet to announce if the Amazfit brand will continue, but the Amazfit app has been renamed to Zepp (formerly Amazfit) on the Google Play Store. According to XDA Developers, any subsequent products will be launched as Zepp devices.

Zepp has priced the E Circle and E Square identically. The two smartwatches are orderable for US$249.99 in the US and £209 in the UK. However, Zepp is currently only selling the E Circle in the US. This model is available as Ice Blue, Onyx Black, Moon Grey and Polar Night Black. By contrast, both models can be purchased in the UK.

The E Circle and E Square are essentially one device with different displays. They feature identical 188 mAh batteries, pogo pins for charging, a stainless steel watch body, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE connectivity and the same sensors. The E Square has a larger AMOLED screen though and is 4 g heavier than the E Circle.
