A new benchmark listing has now revealed CPU performance numbers for Google's fresh Google Pixel 11 series. The Tensor G6, as tested on the Pixel 11 Pro XL, delivers a solid performance upgrade over last year's Tensor G5 but remains much worse than the competition.

Google took the wraps off the Pixel 11 series last week. While the phones will not be widely available till August 20, new benchmark results have begun to surface, with a Geekbench listing showing off the Tensor G6 CPU performance.

As seen, the Tensor G6 aboard the new Pixel 11 Pro XL delivers a single-core score of 2,293 on Geekbench 7, and a multi-core score of 7,108. Both of those scores are solid from a purely Pixel-based perspective, as they represent around a 20% performance uplift relative to the Pixel 10 Pro XL and its Tensor G5. To be exact, that phone has been tested to score 2,010 and 5,923 on the same benchmark.

Compared to rival devices and chipsets, however, the Tensor G6 looks certain to continue the trend of Pixels offering worse performance than the rest of the crowd. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, scores 3,082 and  1,0381 respectively—making it up to 40% more powerful than the Tensor G6-powered Pixel 11 Pro XL.

These numbers indicate that the Tensor G6 is about a generation behind current flagship phones, with its CPU performance sitting somewhere between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite—or right on par with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400. Qualcomm is set to release the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro next month, however, further compounding Google's performance woes.
