The slew of Sonic the Hedgehog-themed keyboards includes the Summit 65+, which Higround is positioning as a luxury product with a Dreamcast-themed design. The device features a premium CNC aluminium finish and a mirror-like stainless steel back plate.
Higround states that the Summit 65+ offers a silent, stable, and solid typing experience thanks to its new Dampening Plus five-layer system. The model costs $299.95.
Next is the Basecamp 65HE, inspired by speed and promising precision and responsiveness. It features Higround’s Hall Effect tech (the clue is in the model’s name). The company is targeting competitive gamers who demand high performance from their keyboards.
The Basecamp 96+ is themed after the classic Sonic design, meant for power users with a fondness for the Blue Blur. The 96 percent layout does not sacrifice functionality despite the compact form. Higround states the model achieves the best sound profile thanks to its Dampening Plus tech and TTC Neptune switches. The Basecamp 96+ costs $189.95.
The last of the bunch is the Basecamp 75+, which is retailing for $169.95. It is offered in two flavors: Escape from the City Design and Sonic CD Design. Both feature a 75 percent layout, Dampening Plus tech, and TTC Neptune switches.
Higround is also offering a Basecamp 75+ keycap set for $69.95 and four XL Control Mousepads for $49.95.
This is the second partnership between Higround and Sega. The accessories will be available on the company’s official website on December 12 initially, but select models will also be stocked by Best Buy and Micro Center.
