Samsung teases Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 event with BTS versions, Galaxy S21 FE and One UI 4.0 on the horizon
Samsung has announced its third Galaxy Unpacked event this year, and the second in three months. Dubbed Galaxy Unpacked Part 2, the event will 'explore all the sides that make you, you' and will open 'a new dimension of possibilities', whatever that means. Marketing hype aside, Samsung will host Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 on October 20, a day after Google's Pixel 6 series event and two days post the next Apple Event.
While Samsung's teaser page reveals nothing about what to expect next Wednesday, the company has posted an explicit hint on its global Twitter channel, embedded below. Hence, Samsung has practically confirmed that a BTS edition of the Galaxy Z Flip3 will arrive on October 20, which is no surprise considering how popular both are. Samsung's tweet hints that it has created BTS versions of the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, as well.
A BTS-exclusive Galaxy Unpacked event would be unusual, in our opinion. Rumour has it that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S21 FE too, as we have discussed separately. In all likelihood, Samsung will also showcase One UI 4.0, its version of Android 12. The company has released two beta builds so far, for reference.
We would be surprised if Samsung announced the Galaxy S22 series next week, mind you. The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra have already leaked several times, including in high quality renders. However, the trio are expected to launch in December or in early 2022.
