@xleaks7 and Pigtou have partnered again to produce another representation of a Galaxy S22 series smartphone. Earlier this month, the pair delivered shots of Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra dummy units, which they have now followed with an equivalent for the Galaxy S22 Plus.
Unsurprisingly, the dummy unit matches renders published by OnLeaks, covered separately. According to the latter, the Galaxy S22 Plus measures 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6 mm, a touch smaller than the Galaxy S21 Plus. The former's camera housing appears to have grown slightly relative to the latter's, though. The housing will not blend as seamlessly into the Galaxy S22 Plus' frame either as it does on the current model.
Accordingly, the camera housing will finish with pronounced edges at its bottom-left and top-right sides. However, the Galaxy S22 Plus should be easier to hold in one hand than its predecessor, as Pigtou has attempted to show. The more compact footprint comes at the cost of a smaller display too, which is rumoured to measure 6.55-inches. By contrast, the Galaxy S21 Plus has a 6.7-inch panel.
@xleaks7 and Pigtou's dummy unit does not show a punch-hole camera. The Galaxy S22 Plus is expected to launch with one though, a design style mirrored by the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra. All models are believed to feature next-generation Exynos and Snapdragon SoCs, rumoured to be the Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 898, respectively.
