Samsung expands Galaxy Book6 lineup with a leight weight 14-inch model

The Galaxy Book6 lineup has proven to be highly versatile so far. Most recently, the 16-inch Galaxy Book6 Ultra impressed us with its slim dimensions and even an RTX 5070, positioning it as a potential competitor to the MacBook Pro. There’s also the Galaxy Book6 Pro with a Core Ultra 7 356H and a 16-inch OLED display.
Now Samsung is expanding the lineup with a model that is thinner and lighter, while also being significantly more affordable than the two variants mentioned above. The 14-inch version costs just €849.
The new 14-inch Galaxy Book6 is particularly thin and light. According to the manufacturer, it measures just 15.7 mm thick and weighs 1.35 kg. The design otherwise follows a minimalist, business-oriented aesthetic, with a new color option called “Violet Silver.” Of course, the Galaxy Book is also available in classic gray.

In terms of ports, the laptop offers USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, and a headphone jack. Galaxy AI can be used to connect multiple Galaxy devices, provided you happen to own more than one.
Samsung is also promoting its new laptop with several AI-powered features. AI Select lets users select content on the screen, after which the AI provides additional information about it. AI Cutout allows users to remove the background from images. The Note Assist feature, meanwhile, summarizes notes and highlights important information, making it easier to keep track of everything that matters.
The new 14-inch Samsung Galaxy Book6 is expected to be available starting in late September, with the price varying depending on the storage configuration. Prices start at €849 (presumably for 8/256 GB).
