Update: The "Galaxy XCover6 Pro", under its suspected SM-G736U model number, has also now surfaced on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website. This leak purports to confirm its battery-capacity specs as below, and may also confirm that it will charge at 25W using the Samsung charger that will come in the box with it.
The FCC has also registered the putative new XCover as a 5G device that supports Wi-Fi 6E on top of that: properties that would indeed make the device a particularly Pro variant of its series on its launch.
Original Article: Samsung is now linked to the launch of a new Galaxy XCover-series smartphone for 2022. These devices are typically viewed as fairly generic workplace or rugged handsets; however, should the leaks surrounding this new generation be accurate, it may debut with more up-to-date, worthwhile properties than average. The latest report on the subject helps reinforce that impression.
The new phone in question has been predicted to launch as either the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro 2 or XCover6 Pro, with the latter emerging as having the most recent, and occasionally official, acknowledgement thus far. GizNext also endorses this idea with the release of updated renders for the same putative new phone.
In truth, they closely resemble the original set of images associated with the "XCover Pro 2". However, GizNext adds some red accents that are consist with Samsung Galaxy rugged phone design to date. They are applied to the programmable button, power button and dual rear cameras seen earlier.
On that note, GizNext now asserts that the XCover6 Pro will have a 50MP main camera, possibly accompanied by an 8MP or even 12MP secondary shooter. The blog also reiterates that it is destined for a ~6.6-inch FHD+ display, although there will be no OLED, elevated refresh rate or punch-holes in evidence here.
GizNext also now alleges that the putative XCover 5/Pro successor will ship with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and a 4,050mAh battery. It may run a build of One UI based on Android 12, driven by a surprisingly high-end Snapdragon 778G processor.
Finally, the blog also backs up claims of a 3.5mm jack for the "XCover6 Pro". Then again, there are still no indicators on when (or if) it will launch and for how much as yet.
