RedMagic 11S Pro gaming phone reservations open with new design revealed

A few days have now passed since RedMagic announced its next gaming smartphone. For context, the company presented the RedMagic 11 Pro around six months ago (curr. $799 on Amazon). Hence, it is high time that RedMagic updated its flagship gaming smartphone series with an S-branded model.
As we have discussed previously, RedMagic has settled on the RedMagic 11S Pro. Initially, the company confirmed that the RedMagic 11S Pro 'series' would be launching in China on May 18. Now, it has confirmed what the RedMagic 11S Pro looks like before next week's official announcement. Also, the company has opened pre-orders in China; there is no word on global availability yet.
Unsurprisingly, the RedMagic 11S Pro represents an evolution of its predecessor's design with the same fan and button layouts as the RedMagic 11 Pro. RedMagic has reworked its camera layout this time though, with one of its primary or ultra-wide-angle cameras moved to the right for some reason. Additionally, the new images confirm that RedMagic has equipped its new smartphone with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version chipset.
Strictly speaking unreleased for now, RedMagic has clarified that the Leading Version differs from the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 by overclocking its Oryon Gen 3 Prime cores from 4.6 GHz to 4.74 GHz. In other words, the RedMagic 11S Pro appears to feature a re-branded Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, which Samsung includes inside the Galaxy S26 Ultra globally.
