Even brighter and flatter than before, that is the motto with the Razer Firefly V2. The gaming mousepad is Razer's brightest to offer Chroma lighting, and supports Razer Synapse 3 too. The accessory more lighting zones than its predecessor too. The Razer Firefly V2 is available to purchase now for US$49.99.

Razer has introduced the Razer Firefly V2, an improved version of its Firefly RGB gaming mouse pad. The new model is even thinner than the original, with Razer having shaved around 3 mm off. The Firefly V2 continues to offer Razer Chroma RGB lighting while being much brighter than its predecessor and is currently the brightest Chroma RGB mouse pad that Razer offers.

The Firefly V2 not only has brighter LEDs but also has nineteen lighting zones spanning all four sides. By contrast, the original Firefly only had RGB lighting on three of its four sides. The V2 also has four additional areas that can be personalised with Chroma effects that utilise up to 16.8 million colours or numerous preset effects using Razer Synapse 3.

Razer has incorporated a micro-textured surface too, which the company promises has been calibrated for all mouse sensors. The company claims that this texture should provide "pixel-precise tracking" too. Meanwhile, the reverse side has an anti-slip coating that should prevent the mousepad from sliding about when you are using it. Razer has also included a cable holder, which it claims will make it easier to use a wired mouse while gaming. The Razer Firefly V2 is now available for US$49.99.
