Razer Hammerhead wireless earbuds: Apple AirPods competitors that cost CNY 799 (~US$113)
Razer already sells a ton of headphones, including wireless ones like the Hammerhead Bluetooth. While these rely on a neckband, it seems that the company has a set of true-wireless earbuds planned too. Originally brought to our attention via a Reddit post, along with articles by Expreview and Techwam, the earbuds are now available to purchase on Chinese retailer Tmall.
We suspect that these will be marketed under Razer's Hammerhead branding if sold outside of China. While the earbuds seem to be listed on the official Razer Tmall store, the company has not formally announced them at the time of writing. Hence, we cannot yet confirm if these are authentic.
As the photos below demonstrate, each earbud is adorned with a Razer logo and will reportedly last up to 3 hours between charges and 15 hours before the bundled charging case also needs recharging. Each earbud will have a microphone and will support Bluetooth 5.0, with Tmall claiming that they are IPX4 certified too. This certification does not mean that it is dust or water-resistant, though.
The wireless earbuds are available to order now on Tmall for CNY 799 (~US$113). Please keep in mind that this includes local sales taxes, so their pricing will vary between regions.
