The next version of One UI, Samsung's custom version of Android, is here. The Android 10-based update, informally called One UI 2.0, is available to download on Galaxy S10 series devices that have been enrolled in the One UI beta program. You can check whether your device is eligible by going to the Samsung Members app, although you must have a Samsung account to register.
In a press release, Samsung has highlighted some refinements that the next version of One UI will bring. You can read the full list here but in summary One UI 2.0 features smaller pop-up notifications that Samsung claims "will come in handy during gaming sessions and media consumption", along with redesigned Digital wellbeing and a new Focus mode the likes of which we have seen other OEMs like OnePlus also introduce. Samsung has refined dark mode too, with One UI 2.0 dimming wallpapers and lock screen content for easier readability at night.
You can currently download Android 10 beta build on the Galaxy S10e, S10, S10+ and S10 5G, although Samsung stresses that the One UI beta program is not open to all countries. The company has not stated which countries are ineligible, though. Please keep in mind that beta builds generally contain more bugs than stable releases do too.
