Casio has released the Sauna Watch SAN100 in the US. Revealed in Japan in 2024, this model has a heat and humidity resistant design and is offered in two colorways. Other features of the popular watch, also known as the Sadokei, include Standard Time and Sauna Modes, with a coil-style band.

The Casio SAN100, also known as the Sadokei or Sauna Watch, is now available in the US. The model was unveiled in Japan in late 2024, where it was initially crowdfunded, before a wider launch in this country in September 2025.

As their name suggests, the Casio SAN100H-1B and SAN100H-7B watches are designed to be worn in the sauna. They can withstand high temperatures up to 100°C (212°F) and high humidity levels for around 15 minutes, with a 50 m water resistance rating. Plus, the heat-resistant BR1225A battery is said to provide up to five years of run time. The watch measures 40.2 x 35.4 x 12.9 mm (~1.58 x 1.39 x 0.51 inches) and weighs 25 g (~0.88 oz).

Casio’s SAN100 has an analog dial with two hands and Arabic numerals. On the top left of the non-metallic resin casing is a mode button, which can be used to switch between Standard Time Mode and Sauna Mode. The latter offers a 12-minute counter, a standard time to spend in the sauna before a cold bath according to the Japanese tradition. On the top right is a reset button. Another feature of this watch is its comfortable coil-style band, similar to that used for a locker key.

You can now buy the black Casio Sauna Watch SAN100H-1B for $110 at the brand’s online store in the US. It appears that a second white and orange colorway, model SAN100H-7B, will be released in this market in the future with the same RRP.
