Casio unveils new slim metal watches with 24-hour sub-dial

Casio has revealed a new analog watch: the MTP-B315. Five versions of the timepiece were recently listed on the brand’s international website alongside variants of the MTP-B215 and the MTP-B190.
The Casio MTP-B315 is a round watch with a silver colored stainless steel casing measuring 46.5 x 40.0 x 9.7 mm (~1.83 x 1.57 x 0.38 inches). Its dial features three hands for the hour, minute and second, and baton indexes set in a Clous de Paris ring. Plus, there is a sub-dial in the 6 o’clock position showing the time in a 24-hour format. These watches are marketed as water resistant to 50 m, with a screw lock back and mineral glass.
According to Casio, the MTP-B315 watches should remain accurate to within 20 seconds each month. They are also said to run for around three years on an SR621SW battery. Two versions of the MTP-B315 have seven-row stainless steel bracelets, while three more variants have leather straps.
The MTP-B315D-1AV is a metal strap watch with a black dial, while the MTP-B315D-7AV has a light silver face. The MTP-B315L-2AV is a blue dial watch, the MTP-B315L-3AV has a blue-green dial, and the MTP-B315L-4AV has a maroon red dial. All three of these watches come with a black genuine leather band.
It remains to be seen when the Casio MTP-B315 watches will be released, and at what price.
