New slim Casio Edifice watches with sapphire crystal released in more countries
The Casio Edifice EFB-109D-3AV and EFB-109D-5AV watches have been released. Spotted on the brand’s international website in early 2026, these two analog timepieces are now available in Europe.
In countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany, you can buy the Casio Edifice EFB-109D-3AV and EFB-109D-5AV watches at the brand’s official online store for €139 each. This is the same price as earlier models like the EFB-109D-2AV, released in 2025.
Casio’s Edifice EFB-109D-3AV has a gradated blue-green dial, lighter through the center, while the EFB-109D-5AV has a similar face in brown hues. Both have slim silver-tone stainless steel casing, measuring 43.5 x 38.5 x 9.2 mm (~1.71 x 1.52 x 0.36 inches), and come with matching bracelets with a one-touch 3-fold clasp.
The Edifice EFB-109 has three analog hands, remaining accurate to within 20 seconds each month, and a basic date display. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, and there is a screw lock back. The watch is estimated to run for around three years on a SR920SW battery, and is water resistant to 100 m. Whether or when the Casio Edifice EFB-109D-3AV and EFB-109D-5AV watches will be released in other markets, like North America, is unclear.
