New Casio Edifice EFB-109D series watches launched with sapphire crystal and slim profile

Casio has added two new watches to its Edifice EFB-109D collection. These new motorsports-inspired analog timepieces come with a slim profile and the classic sports-watch design. The series has a 43.5 x 38.5 x 9.2 mm stainless-steel case featuring a radiating hairline finish on the round bezel. The 9.2 mm thickness is thinner than many contemporary chronographs. This renders a "slender" design which adds even more versatility for casual and business environments.
Technically, the EFB-109D uses a standard 3-hand analog module powered by an SR920SW battery, which provides an approximate battery life of three years. The movement is rated for an accuracy of ±20 seconds per month. For exterior protection, Casio has equipped the series with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a screw-lock back, features typically reserved for mid-tier models. The watch is paired with a solid stainless steel band featuring a one-touch 3-fold clasp, supporting wrist sizes from 150 to 205 mm.
The collection is rated for 100-meter water resistance (10 bar), making it suitable for surface swimming and standard daily exposure to water. While the design is inspired by "classic sportscars," it lacks the chronograph or tachymeter functions found in other Edifice models. These models are identified as "New" for the February 2026 release cycle.
