New Casio digital watch with square display and metal strap available in more countries

The Casio Standard W-800HD-1AV digital watch is now available in EU countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. This popular model launched in the UK at the end of January 2026.

Now, customers in EU countries can buy the Casio Standard W-800HD-1AV watch at the brand’s online store for €49.90. This makes it €10 more expensive than resin strap versions of the W-800H, like the W-800H-2AV (RRP €39.90). In this market, customers must pay €4.95 for shipping, with an estimated delivery time of one to two business days.

Casio’s Standard W-800HD-1AV watch is silver colored, with a resin casing measuring 44.2 x 36.8 x 13.4 mm (~1.7 x 1.4 x 0.5 inches). This surrounds a square-shaped digital display, with a typical light background, dark figures and a black frame. The model weighs 91 g (~3.2 oz), is waterproof up to 10 bar and comes with a matching stainless steel strap with a triple fold clasp.

Features of the Casio W-800H include support for dual time, hourly time signals, a multifunctional alarm and a 1/100th second stopwatch. Users can choose between 12 and 24 hour time formats, and the display also shows the date and day of the week. Plus, this model has a green LED backlight and a fully automatic calendar to the year 2099. Casio has yet to announce details about the release of the Standard W800HD-1AV watch in the US.
